Coordinates (J2000): RA = 23:31:58.520 (352.993833) DEC = +28:56:51.70 (28.947694)
Discovery date: 2016-09-09 16:02:03.000 (JD=2457641.1680903)

Potential host galaxy: MRK 0930S
Host redshift: 0.018

Remarks: This possible supernova was discovered by the 0.6 m schmidt telescope at Xinglong Observatory during the Tsinghua-NAOC Transient Survey (TNTS). The transient is located 1" west and 2" north of the center of MRK 0930S. The absolute magnitude is about -16.6.
