Coordinates (J2000): RA = 23:13:41.890 (348.424542) DEC = +24:54:08.40 (24.902333)
Discovery date: 2016-09-30 12:14:24.000 (JD=2457662.01)

Potential host galaxy: NGC 7527
Host redshift: 0.0266

Remarks: This possible supernova was discovered by the 0.6 m schmidt telescope at Xinglong Observatory during the Tsinghua-NAOC Transient Survey (TNTS). The transient is located 1" east and 0" north of the center of NGC 7527. The absolute magnitude is -17.8m.
