6192016-12-06 12:22:24jlprietoJ. BrownASAS-SNCVASAS-SNWe obtained an optical spectrum of ASASSN-16ne/AT2016iad on UT 2016 Nov. 17 using OSMOS mounted on the MDM 2.4m telescope at KPNO. The spectrum shows a blue continuum and H Balmer lines in absorption at z~0, consistent with a Galactic CV.
