TNS Astronomical Transient Report No. 7185 [ 2016TNSTR.981....1S ]

Date Received (UTC): 2016-12-02 18:31:14
Sender: Prof. Krzysztof Stanek
Source Group: ASAS-SN

K. Z. Stanek, for the ASAS-SN team report/s the discovery of a new astronomical transient.

IAU Designation: AT 2016irh
Discoverer internal name: ASASSN-16oh
Coordinates (J2000): RA = 01:57:43.644 (29.43185) DEC = -73:37:32.48 (-73.62569)
Discovery date: 2016-12-02 03:36:00 (JD=2457724.65)

Remarks: In several epochs, on the rise, Vizier match to a blue source with B=20.7, so could also be a CV, but slow rise light curve more similar to supernova
