Discovery date: 2016-12-05 20:09:36 (JD=2457728.34)

Potential host galaxy: SBS 0809+582
Host redshift: 0.027

Remarks: This possible supernova was discovered by the 0.6 m schmidt telescope at Xinglong Observatory during the Tsinghua-NAOC Transient Survey (TNTS). The transient is located 0" east and 4" north of the center of SBS 0809+582
