Discovery date: 2017-04-12 20:24:00 (JD=2457856.35)

Potential host galaxy: SDSS J171638.40+395624.4

Remarks: This possible supernova was discovered by the 0.6 m schmidt telescope at Xinglong Observatory during the Tsinghua-NAOC Transient Survey (TNTS). The transient is located 1" east and 0" north of the center of SDSS J171638.40+395624.4
