Discovery date: 2017-09-29 14:24:00 (JD=2458026.1)

Potential host galaxy: 2MASX J01404892+1233102

Remarks: This possible supernova was discovered by the 0.6 m schmidt telescope at Xinglong Observatory during the Tsinghua-NAOC Transient Survey (TNTS). The transient is located 0" west and 2" north of the center of 2MASX J01404892+1233102
