Discovery date: 2017-10-26 17:45:36.000 (JD=2458053.24)

Potential host galaxy: NGC 0399
Host redshift: 0.017

Remarks: This possible supernova was discovered by the 0.6 m schmidt telescope at Xinglong Observatory during the Tsinghua-NAOC Transient Survey (TNTS). The transient is located 1" west and 0" north of the center of NGC 0399
