Coordinates (J2000): RA = 00:44:01.520 (11.006333) DEC = +41:30:18.40 (41.505111)
Discovery date: 2017-12-15 17:45:58 (JD=2458103.2402546)

Potential host galaxy: M31

Remarks: This object was first seen on 2017-10-29. Very faint at first but appears to be growing brighter. Imaged with 20cm reflector and QSI ccd camera. Previous M31 novae checked, minor planets checked, search of Cepheid variables done, all show no objects.
