Andrew Howell, Curtis McCully, Stefano ValentiLCOGT SN-KPSN Ia0.03LCOGT SN-KPUsing Superfit (Howell et al. 2005, ApJ, 634, 1190), we find good fits to several normal Type Ia supernovae about a week before maximum light at the redshift of the host galaxy (z=0.03, derived from the narrow H-alpha line in the spectrum), but with fits as early as -15 days and as late as -1 day. The 0.5 mag/day rise from ASAS-SN favors an earlier phase, while the current absolute magnitude (M_V ~ -19 mag) favors a phase closer to peak.
