G. Hosseinzadeh, S. Valenti, D. Sand, S. Wyatt, K. A. Bostroem, D. E. Reichart, J. B. Haislip, V. Kouprianov report/s a classification of object: SN 2018aoz
Type: SN IaRedshift: 0.0058
Remarks: Using Superfit (Howell et al. 2005, ApJ, 634, 1190), we find a good fit to the normal Type Ia SN 1999ac 15 days before maximum light at the redshift of the proposed host galaxy (z=0.0058; Kaldare, Colless, Raychaudhury, & Peterson 2003, MNRAS, 339, 652 via NED).
The following Classification spectrum was provided:
Obsdate: 2018-04-02 09:25:18
Instrument: FLOYDS-S
Telescope: Faulkes Telescope South
Details of the object and its spectra can be viewed here: https://www.wis-tns.org/object/2018aoz
