21612018-06-20 12:42:17Simon PrenticeS. J. Prentice, P. Clark (QUB)NoneSN I0.093Spectrum shows prominent galaxy lines and a SN-like continuum underneath. Classification with SNID (Blondin & Tonry, 2007, ApJ, 666, 1024) favours SNe Ia, this is also favoured by the peak absolute magnitude of the object at approximately -19.5 mag, however the nature of the SI II feature around 6000 A is unclear and is likely contaminated by host-galaxy emission lines. Consequently this introduces some ambiguity so we classify this object as a type I SN despite the likelihood that it is a SN Ia.2018TNSCR.860....1P
