Dong (KIAA-PKU)ASAS-SNSN Ia0.026385ASAS-SNWe obtained an optical low-resolution spectrum of supernovae candidates on UT 2018 July 14 with WFCCD mounted on the du Pont 2.5m telescope at Las Campanas Observatory. The spectrum of ASASSN-18pb/AT2018djd is that of a Type Ia-norm supernova before maximum light. SNID (Blondin & Tonry 2007) gives a best fit age of -2.3 days before maximum light and z=0.024 as the redshift, consistent with the host galaxy redshift.
