Discovery date: 2018-01-08 19:12:00 (JD=2458127.3)

Potential host galaxy: SDSS J085322.12+485943.6

Remarks: This possible supernova was discovered by the 0.6 m schmidt telescope at Xinglong Observatory during the Tsinghua-NAOC Transient Survey (TNTS). The transient is located 1" east and 1" north of the center of SDSS J085322.12+485943.6
