Masayuki Yamanaka report/s a classification of object: SN 2018ebt

Type: SN Ib/c

Remarks: We performed the optical spectroscopic observations of AT 2018ebt using HOWPol attached to the 1.5-m Kanata telescope. The spectrum exhibits the very shallow and relatively broad absorption lines at 4800A, 5950A, 7500A, and 8150A. These features would be corresponding to those of Fe II, He I, O I, and Ca II IR triplet. This SN is classified into Type SNe Ib/c using the Gelato system (Harutyunyan et al., 2008, A&A, 488, 383), assuming that the redshift of the host galaxy is z=0.005.
