Andrew Howell, Curtis McCully, Stefano ValentiGlobal SN ProjectSLSN-I0.063Global SN ProjectUsing Superfit (Howell et al. 2005, ApJ, 634, 1190), we find a good fit to the SLSN-I PTF09cnd at -16 days. We measure the redshift to be 0.063 from the host hydrogen lines. Images from LCO taken on 20181104 show an extinction-corrected V-band absolute magnitude of -20.7. Archival PanSTARRS images show that the host is a dwarf galaxy. Further followup is encouraged.
