Type: SN II

Remarks: According to SNID (Blondin and Tonry 2007, ApJ, 666, 1024), the spectrum is consistent with a faint type II SNe about 1-2 weeks after explosion. It is also plausibly a luminous blue variable in outburst, given the current luminosity of the transient, M_V~-13.
