Melina Thévenot report/s the discovery of a new astronomical transient.

IAU Designation: AT 2018lqc
Coordinates (J2000): RA = 14:32:44.280 (218.1845) DEC = +20:24:45.00 (20.4125)
Discovery date: 2018-02-19 08:54:59 (JD=2458168.8715162)

Potential host galaxy: SDSS J143244.34+202450.8
Host redshift: 0.100226

Remarks: An Absolute Magnitude of about -17 was also calculated. A search in the Bright Supernova Pages (http://www.rochesterastronomy.org/sn2018/snlocations.html), TNS, NED and SIMBAD did not return any result for this transient.
