The transient approximately located at R.A.=00h42m19.99s +41d13'22".5 (equinox 2000.0). Which is about 274.3" west and 166" south of the center of the NGC224(M31). Nothing is visible at this position on archival images taken on Mar. 11.59387 (limiting mag 19.5).

The transient has brightened considerably since discovery. On 2018 March 18.821 it was magnitude 15.1 unfiltered (reference UCAC-4 R).
