Type: SN Ic
Redshift: 0.026762

Remarks: Using Superfit (Howell et al. 2005, ApJ, 634, 1190) and SNID (Blondin & Tonry 2007, ApJ, 666, 1024), we find several good fits to Type Ic-norm supernovae around maximum light. We take the redshift to be 0.026762 (value from NED, consistent with fits). The lightcurve of the object from ZTF shows it is was still brightening on March 20 at magnitude 18.75 (absolute magnitude -16.6), which could be slightly sub-luminous for a SN Ic. We measure the expansion velocity of the Ca NIR triplet to be 12,000 km/s.
