The spectrum displays narrow host emission lines of H I, O II, and O III, from which we measure a redshift of 0.0225. Using this redshift, we measure a Si II velocity of 10,000 km/s. The spectrum displays an extremely broad NIR feature consisting of blended O I and Ca II lines, similar to the spectra of SN 1998bw and SN 2002ap (Foley et al. 2003, PASP, 115, 1120; Mazzali et al. 2002, ApJ, 572, 61). Photometry from LCO and ZTF shows that the object is brightening, so further follow-up is encouraged.
