Aaron Do, Michael A. Tucker, Anna V. Payne, Mark E. Huber, Ben J. Shappee report/s a classification of object: SN 2019jzt

Type: SN Ia-91T-like
Redshift: 0.08

Remarks: Definitely a Type Ia supernova, and probably a Ia-91T-like. SNID gives several matches to Ia-norms about a week before maximum light, but this object was reported over two weeks ago. Given its redshift, it would have been too faint for ATLAS to detect three weeks before maximum light. SNID gives a match to sn2005hj, a Ia-91T-like, at 10 days past maximum light. We find this more reasonable.

The following Classification spectrum was provided:

Obsdate: 2019-07-16 11:24:00
Instrument: SNIFS
Telescope: UH 88inch

Remarks: Reduced with a summit-based quick reduction pipeline.
