Discovery date: 2019-01-08 20:10:21 (JD=2458492.3405208)

Potential host galaxy: IC 2968
Host redshift: 0.022055

Remarks: This possible supernova was discovered by the 0.6 m Schmidt telescope at Xinglong Observatory during the Tsinghua-NAOC Transient Survey (TNTS). The transient is located 2.8" east and 0.2" north of the center of IC 2968.
