Daichi Hiramatsu, Iair Arcavi, Jamison Burke, D. Andrew Howell, Curtis McCully, Craig Pellegrino, Stefano Valenti report/s a classification of object: SN 2019lkw

Type: SN II
Redshift: 0.07

Remarks: Using Superfit (Howell et al. 2005, ApJ, 634, 1190) and SNID (Blondin & Tonry 2007, ApJ, 666, 1024), we find good fits to several normal Type II SNe at the inferred redshift of 0.07 from the broad hydrogen emission lines (no host redshift measurement is available on NED). Despite the age of ~ 40 days, the expansion velocity estimated from Hα is at least 10,000 km/s and the light curve is plateauing around -19.3 mag, making it a slowly-evolving bright Type II.
