Maximilian Stritzinger report/s a classification of object: SN 2019mty
Type: SN IaRedshift: 0.07
Remarks: The visual-wavelength spectrum of SN 2019mty reveals it to be a normal type Ia supernova around maximum light. Comparison with a library of spectra using SNID (Blondin and Tonry 2007, ApJ, 666, 1024) suggests a host red-shift of z=0.07.
The following Classification spectrum was provided:
Obsdate: 2019-08-10 02:09:36
Instrument: ALFOSC
Telescope: Nordic Optical Telescope
Remarks: The visual-wavelength spectrum was obtained during the course of the 2019 Danish Summer School in Observational Astrophysics.
