Transient appears offset from SDSS J094756.77+004933.6 and does not look to be Galactic in nature.

Redshift is approximate based upon a broad bump in the spectrum which we assume to be H alpha, as per young SNe II. Transient has a rise rate of ~0.8 mag in ~16 days in r with no sign of maximum right having yet been reached. We encourage further spectroscopic observations to confirm this classification.
