The transient approximately located at R.A.=11h04m36.99s +45d58'39".5 (equinox 2000.0). Which is about 2.6" east and 27.6" south of the center of the PGC33464. Nothing is visible at this position on archival images taken on May. 30.65884 UT(limiting mag 19.0).

Cross-correlation with the comparison tool GELATO (Harutyunyan et al. 2008, A&A, 488, 383, https://gelato.tng.iac.es) shows that it matches with SN 1998S at t = +3 days after the explosion.
