Group: ZTF
Igor Andreoni, Kishalay De report/s a classification of object: SN 2020hdh
Type: SN IcRedshift: 0.012
Remarks: Deep O I and Ca II features at z=0.012 suggest the transient to be a SN Ic. We found a good match to the SN Ic 2004aw at the host redshift running SNID (Blondin & Tonry 2007) on the spectrum after clipping galaxy lines.
The following Classification spectrum was provided:
Obsdate: 2020-04-16 00:00:00
Instrument: SEDM
Telescope: Palomar 1.5m
