Type: SN

Remarks: Based on the blue continuum, the fast rise to the peak (>1.2 mag/day in g band), and the subsequent decline (~0.3 mag/day in g band) within 6 days or less of explosion as seen in the public ZTF light curve, this object could be a young core-collapse SN, or possibly a fast blue optical transient (FBOT). A faint smudge at the object location can be seen in PS1 images, but no obvious host lines can be identified in the 2D spectrum. Further followup is encouraged, as is refining this classification and redshift as the object evolves further.
