Andrew Howell, Curtis McCully, Estefania Padilla Gonzalez, Craig PellegrinoGlobal SN ProjectSN Ia0.076388Global SN ProjectUsing Superfit (Howell et al. 2005, ApJ, 634, 1190) and SNID (Blondin & Tonry 2007, ApJ, 666, 1024), we find best fits to SNe Ia near maximum light, including SN 2006cf 3 days after peak. The supernova is closest to WISEA J094122.57+155741.1 (z = 0.076388; 2011ApJ...735..125S; value from NED). Adopting this redshift we measure a Si II 6355 velocity of approximately 11,000 km/s. Adopting the distance modulus computed from this redshift (37.6), the g-band absolute magnitude of the object roughly coeval with the spectrum is -18.9 (apparent magnitude 18.8, from ZTF), ignoring host reddening. The absolute magnitude and Si II velocity corroborate this object’s classification as a Ia near max.2020TNSCR3499....1B
