Andrew Howell, Curtis McCully, Estefania Padilla Gonzalez, Craig PellegrinoGlobal SN ProjectSN Ia0.057153Global SN ProjectUsing Superfit (Howell et al. 2005, ApJ, 634, 1190) and SNID (Blondin & Tonry 2007, ApJ, 666, 1024), we find best fits to SNe Ia near maximum light, including SN 2006cf 3 days after peak. The supernova is closest to 2MASX J14244342-0134127 (z = 0.057153, 2004SDSS2.C...0000:, value from NED). Adopting this redshift we measure a Si II 6355 velocity of approximately 11,000 km/s. Adopting the distance modulus computed from this redshift (37.0), the g-band absolute magnitude of the object roughly coeval with the spectrum is -19.4 (apparent magnitude 17.7, from ZTF). This absolute magnitude and velocity is consistent with an SN Ia near maximum light.2021TNSCR.680....1B
