Stanek (OSU)ASAS-SNSN Ia0.0321ASAS-SNAn optical spectrum spectrum of ASASSN-16nn/AT2016ijf was obtained on UT 2016 Nov 25.0 with WFCCD mounted on the du Pont 2.5m telescope at LCO. The spectrum shows that ASASSN-16nn is a Type Ia SN at maximum light. We cross-correlated the spectrum with a library of supernova spectra using the "Supernova Identification" code (SNID; Blondin and Tonry 2007, Ap.J. 666, 1024) and the spectrum of ASASSN-16nn is most consistent with a normal SN Ia at -1 days. The SNID redshift from the SN features is 0.032.

Classification with SNID (Blondin and Tonry 2007, ApJ, 666, 1024) indicates ASASSN-16gp is a normal Type Ia SN observed at 20-30 days after peak. The helium lines at 588 and 707 nm are clearly observed, with P Cygni minima corresponding to a velocity of ~7000 km/s. The helium line at 668 nm may also be present at the same velocity but blended with narrow H-alpha emission from the host.

192016-01-19 16:28:11iairI. Arcavi, G. Hosseinzadeh, D. A. Howell, C. McCully (LCOGT/UCSB)LCOGT SN-KPSN Ia0.0451LCOGT SN-KPWe obtained a spectrum of AT 2016D on 2016 January 17.5 UT with the LCOGT robotic FLOYDS instrument mounted on the Faulkes Telescope South. Using Superfit (Howell et al. 2005, ApJ, 634, 119) and SNID (Blondin & Tonry 2007, ApJ, 666, 1024), we find good fits to a Type Ia supernova 2-3 weeks after maximum light at the redshift of the host galaxy (z=0.045; Huchra et al. 2012, ApJS, 199, 26). A similar classification (obtained with different data) was first reported by Hounsell et al. (2016, ATel 8546). We find the spectrum to be highly reddened with E(B-V) ~ 1.1. Correcting for some of the host galaxy contamination we find that the SN magnitude is V~18.7 (corresponding to an absolute magnitude of -17.8 at the observed redshift).

6042016-12-05 13:01:34jlprietoB. J. Shappee, J. L. Prieto, J. Rich, B. MadoreASAS-SNSN Ia1ASAS-SNWe report an optical spectrum (range 370-920 nm) of ASASSN-16jc/AT2016fej obtained on UT 2016 Aug. 30.0 with the du Pont 2.5-m telescope (+ WFCCD) at Las Campanas Observatory. We performed a cross-correlation with a library of supernova spectra using the "Supernova Identification" code (SNID; Blondin and Tonry 2007, Ap.J. 666, 1024). The spectrum of ASASSN-16jc is most similar to the spectrum of the normal SN2007F at -6 days before maximum light.
