The transient (mag approximately 14.5) on one 40-s survey image (limiting mag about 19.5) taken by Xing Gao in Xingming Observatory Sky Survey(C42) around Sep. 03.70174, 2017, using a unfiltered CCD ( + Celestron C14 Schmidt-Cassegrain telescope D=356-mm @f/6.9 ). The new object approximately located at R.A.=19h43m40.29s +56d06'36".3 (equinox 2000.0). Which is about 3.2" west and 2.3" north of the center of the NGC 6824. Nothing is visible at this position on archival image taken on Aug 22.72028, 2017 (limiting mag 19.5). All images can be seen from: http://www.xjltp.com/XOSS/PSP17B/PSP17B.htm.

Several spectra were acquired from our group, as described by Izzo et al. (GCN 23142), showing the emergence of a supernova from the GRB afterglow. The spectrum uploaded here shows a convincing match with the type-Ic SN 2002ap, thus allowing a robust classification of this SN as a broad-lined Type-Ic SN (Selsing et al., GCN 23181).
