The new object doesn't appear to move on four diiferent images made during the search and a seach in MPChecker doesn't show any know asteroids of coments in the area. We tried to obtain remote control observations from Mexico and Australia but weather doesn't permit any. The place of the newly found object was searched also for stars from USNO A2 catalogue and nothing was recorded there as well. Astrometry calculations were made from the web page www.astrometry.net and the images were compared in Aladin java applet from CDS. I've searched throught the AT list in TNS and also the web page Bright Supernovae doesn't report any PSN in that area as well.

The spectrum is similar to those of SNe Ia around the 2 month after the maximum date. YamanakaNone tns_2018pv_2018-02-08.7_Kanata_HOWPol.txtObjectThe spectrum resembles with that of a normal Type Ia supernova (SN Ia) at the pre-maximum stage. Using the automatic SN classification tool, GELATO (Harutyunyan et al., 2008, A&A, 488, 383), the spectrum would be similar to that of SN 1992A at the 5 days before maximum. We identified the absorption lines of the CaII IR triplet, OI 7774, SiII 6355, SiII 5972, SII W-shape feature, and Fe II multiplet in our spectrum. The CaII IR triplet, OI 7774, and SiII 6355 line velocities were measured to be ~16500, ~16500, and ~13000 km/s, respectively. The SiII 5972 absorption line was significantly deeper than that of SN 1992A, suggesting that this SN might be a more subluminous event. We measured the equivalent width (EW) of the NaID line as to 0.9 angstrom, suggesting that the host galactic extinction could be very large (A_V~0.5-2.0). Even if the extinction is corrected for, this SN could be still in the rising phase. Follow-up observations could be encouraged.

2162016-05-09 18:16:56DAO_OTSDave BalamDAO_OTSSN IIP0.0181DAO_OTSA spectrum was obtained on UT May 09.36 of AT2016ccm in IC 983 using the 1.82-m Plaskett telescope (National Research Council of Canada) covering the range 365-710 nm (resolution 0.35 nm). Cross-correlation with a template library using SNID (Blondin & Tonry 2007, ApJ, 666, 1024) shows AT2016ccm to be a core-collapse supernova approximately 1 week post maximum light. We find a fit to the template of (SN IIp) 2006bp at 7 days past maximum. Our solution yields a host redshift of z=0.017. The apparent host is IC983 with a published redshift (NED) of z=0.018.

8532017-03-21 23:06:04tgbrinkThomas Brink, Goni Halevi, Isaac Shivvers, Alex Filippenko (UC Berkeley)LOSSSN Ia1We report the acquisition of a low-S/N CCD spectrum (range 420-700 nm) of SN 2017B, obtained on Jan. 29, 2017 UT with the Shane 3-m reflector (+ Kast spectrograph) at Lick Observatory. Cross-correlation with a library of supernova spectra using the "SuperNova Identification" code (SNID; Blondin and Tonry 2007, Ap.J. 666, 1024) suggests this observation of SN 2017B best matches a normal type Ia ~1 month after peak.

16432018-01-16 12:41:15msiebertM. R. Siebert, G. Dimitriadis, R. J. Foley (UCSC)NoneSN Ia0.0052741The spectrum indicates that SN 2018gv is a very young, normal Type Ia supernova. Using SNID (Blondin & Tonry, 2007, ApJ, 666, 1024), we find a good match to several Type Ia SNe 10-15 days before maximum brightness. We note that the small number of SNe Ia observed at very early phases often results in a bias to later phases. The SN was discovered at 16.5 mag, which assuming a distance modulus of 31.1 mag for the host galaxy NGC 2525 (Tully et al., 2013, AJ, 146, 86T), corresponds to an absolute magnitude of -14.8 -- or at least 4 mag below peak brightness. This further indicates that the SN is particularly young. If the SN has minimal host reddening, it will peak at V ~ 12 mag. We measure an Si II 6355 velocity of -16,800 km/s. Similarly, we measure a C II 6580 velocity of -15,300 km/s. We detect narrow Ca H&K absorption at the host-galaxy redshift, but do not detect narrow Na D.

17632018-03-06 19:21:14iairIair Arcavi, Griffin Hosseinzadeh, Daichi Hiramatsu, Curtis McCully, D. Andrew Howell, Jaime Burke (UCSB/LCO)Global SN ProjectSN II0.0029791Global SN ProjectWe report a FLOYDS spectrum obtained on 2018-03-06.4 UT with the robotic FLOYDS instrument mounted on the Las Cumbres Observatory 2-meter telescope on Haleakala, Hawai'i, in order to correct a previous classification of this object as a Type Ia-CSM supernova. The added resolution of the FLOYDS data compared to the spectrum reported previously clearly reveals the presence of narrow Balmer H emission lines atop a blue continuum, consistent with a young Type II supernova. Additional narrow emission features include He II 4686A and 5411A, C III 4648A, C IV 5801A, O III 3713A and 3749A, and possibly N III 4640A, similar to those seen in very early "flash spectra" of young Type II supernovae (e.g. Gal-Yam et al. 2014, Nature, 509, 471; Khazov et al. 2016, ApJ, 818, 3; Hosseinzadeh et al. 2018, arXiv: 1801.00015), and in early spectra of the peculiar Type II SN 1998S (e.g. Shivvers et al. 2015, ApJ, 806, 213). It is therefore still too early to classify this event as a Type IIn supernova (or as any other subcategory of the Type II class).
